Bangers and Cash 2018 · 21 September 2018 to 25 September 2018 ·

Welcome to the Bangers and Cash Rally Team fundraising page! Please donate generously to support your favourite team and help young people at risk of homelessness in the Sheffield City Region.

Story

Bangers and Cash is the UK’s first art road show banger rally, and it’s the biggest event that Roundabout has ever been involved with.

Our rally team is made up of 3 members who all work for the charity: Ben Keegan (CEO), Neil Marshall (Group Living Team Leader) and Jonny Edwards (Homeless Prevention Worker). We all see first-hand the difference that this charity makes to the lives of vulnerable young people at risk of homelessness every single day. On 21st September, we will be driving to Monaco in an old Peugeot to raise money for the charity, so we can continue to help transform lives.

We are all really passionate about the work that Roundabout does, and the importance of early intervention to prevent people from becoming homeless where possible. Fundraising is vital in helping us to keep doing this, so the money raised from Bangers and Cash will go towards expanding our Homeless Prevention work across South Yorkshire.

We are excited to be taking part in the adventure, daunted by the prospect of the car not making it but primarily are looking forward to raising much needed funds to ensure Roundabout can keep on doing the valuable work they do.

Please support us and help give young people in South Yorkshire a brighter future.

Roundabout is Sheffield's youth homeless charity. Every day, we provide shelter and support to over 150 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. You donations will help provide a safe place for young people and help us to provide the support and life skills to help break the cycle of homelessness. Your support will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield. Our work is a lifeline for many and supports the young people we work with to prepare for a better future. From £5 which would buy bedding for a young person when they move into the hostel or their own flat to £5,000 which will house a young person for a full year – it all makes a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
