Taking Walnuts to Ben Nevis · 15 September 2018

We campaign to improve the care and quality of information given to men with prostate issues and we organise activities and campaigns to raise funds, as well as awareness of the disease, in order to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Story

"Human life is far more important than just getting to the top of a mountain" Edmund Hillary

Eleven members of the 41 Club Gibraltar (ex Round Tablers)  will be travelling at our own expense to Scotland to ascend Ben Nevis.

One in 8 of us statistically will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during our lifetime.

Charles Russo, Manoj Nagrani, Francis Rodriguez, Paul Origo, Ramesh Karnani, Paul Victor, John Tewkesbury, Derren Vincent, Pepe Codali, Gino Matto and Charles Menez will be making for the summit.

Given our average age it will be quite a physical challenge but we are determined to ensure that prostate problems are detected and treated as early as possible, and to support the quality of life for prostate cancer patients and their families in Gibraltar.

Derren Vincent, President,  41 Club Gibraltar
