Halfway Hospice Challenge · 18 March 2010

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, exists to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days for patients and their families.

Story

We did it!

We completed the 37 mile challenge on Thursday 18 March 2010! We cycled from the Falkirk Wheel to St Columba's Hospice in along the and the Water of Leith walkway. It was challenging, quite windy but great fun.

The numbers: 6 team members, 1 support member (thanks Al), 1 puncture. Total distance 38.69 miles, total cycling time 4 hours 11 minutes, average speed 9.2 miles/hour.

We have raised over £1,500 in total and thank you for your donations which are so important for St Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh and the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.
