Empowering children through skateboarding and education. We are an award-winning international non-profit organization which empowers children through skateboarding and education in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa. By combining skateboarding with creative, arts-based education, we give children the opportunity to become leaders for a better world. Our focus is on groups who are often excluded from sports and educational opportunities, especially girls, children living with disabilities and those from low-income backgrounds. We provide safe spaces where children can have fun, build their skills and confidence and break down social barriers by making new friends.

Story

It has been pretty much a year now that I started growing my lockdown beard. I never thought it would be going on for so long!

People have asked me how long I would grow it and I would mumble some noise about cutting it off for charity, maybe to help Skateboarders internationally or something.

So here it is. I am good to my word and as some sort of sick celebration of the anniversary of a global pandemic. I am offering to cut my beard off for money. For a good cause of course!

So what is Skateistan?
