Story

We are running the Berlin Marathon in support of The Sussex Heart Charity who provided critical care for our Dad after his recent heart attack.

Those of you who know our Dad are aware of what a shock this was for us all - including him! He is one of the least likely people you would have expected to have a heart attack. He's always been fit and healthy and is (relatively) young. So it's no surprise to hear that when suffering a heart attack, he continued to make himself a cup of tea and told mum she should go back to bed.

On arrival at Worthing hospital, he was quickly dispatched to Brighton hospital where we are fortunate enough to have a specialist cardiac unit supported by The Sussex Heart Charity. We have no doubt they saved his life that night and so we'd like to raise funds to help them to continue their critical work.

We really appreciate the current economic climate and the pressures people are under. Please only give if you can as charity begins at home!
