My name is Rowena and thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

As you know I do like to run a bit, and I have competed in lots of events over the years.

I have always wanted to run the London Marathon, and I was introduced to a brilliant local charity who were looking for people to represent them. And crucially to raise some funds for their mission. I have always had the desire to raise money for a great cause while running. This is my chance!

So why do I want to run for Links?

They have an inspiring mission – their mission is to connect people, confront poverty and create potential. They work with partners around the world to provide long-term sustainable solutions, and lasting change.

What appealed to me was their ambition, their drive and I love that they are a smaller charity, and local. So, lots of boxes ticked!
