Story

To raise money on 28th January I am going to row a marathon on a concept 2 rowing machine.  This will be a challenge physically for my lungs, legs, hands and err bottom (think glutes) as well as a mental challenge to sit strapped into a machine for multiple hours.  I have been doing lots of training, my hands have slowly moved from sore, red and blistered to rough and callused over time.

I am raising money on behalf of Amélie, who is the daughter of my cousin.   Amélie is a little girl who struggles with many aspect of life we take for granted, such as walking or even running.  Amélie relies upon a lot of help from charities to help try to get as much out of each day as possible.

The Tree of Hope is a charity which Amélie greatly relies on for the amazing work they do.

I know this will be painful and require some inner strength but this is all for a very very worthy cause.

Any donations are greatly appreciated.
