Fundraising for Peace Hospice Care
Story
The Peace Hospice is a charity that is very close to my family's heart and unfortunately we saw first hand last year what amazing care and support they provide to patients and their family's. My Grandad and Uncle both received fantastic care from The Peace Hospice last year and it's my turn to give back.
On Saturday 29th August I will be taking part in the Virtual Starlight Walk. This is an event that is usually held in Cassiobury Park with thousands of participants but due to Covid, participants are taking part virtually this year, which means the walk can be completed anytime before the 1st September, with the help of Strava to track your performance.
I have chosen to walk the 6 mile distance, I have picked a route, downloaded strava and roped Dan in to keep me company on my way. I have chosen to complete the walk on this day as I was meant to be at the Belgium Grand Prix with Grandad.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will help to continue the running of The Peace Hospice and allow patients and their family's to get the best support and care they could ask for.

Peace Hospice Care have had to make some very difficult decisions closing all 11 of their charity shops and postponing fundraising events for the next few months.
