Hi, my name is Roy Sturgess.

In July 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer, which has spread to my spine and pelvis. Although this type of cancer is not curable, thanks to advances in research I am currently responding well to treatment.

This May, I’m taking on the Walk 100 Miles challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research. I want to help fund vital research that can improve treatments and outcomes for men and their families facing this disease.
