I am fundraising for Anthony Nolan, the charity which is helping save my Dad's life.

Dad was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (a rare red blood cell cancer) in late 2023. There was no cure - unless a stem cell donor could be found.

Dad endured months of gruelling chemotherapy, staying positive throughout. We all kept on hoping.

Amazingly, Anthony Nolan found a donor. This anonymous hero donated cells which would entirely replace Dad's bone marrow.

Dad had the transplant in August 2024, and he is now starting the long process of recovery.

Anthony Nolan currently helps four patients a day in need of a transplant, giving more people another chance to live.

They want to do more. They are building their register of potential donors and carrying out life-saving research. Let’s help them do it.
