In memory of my big sister Jill Shepherd - I will be taking part in SBH Scotland's Rabbie Burns Firewalk event where i walk over 20 feet of burning wood embers at 1236 degrees fahrenheit! 

I am hoping being the granddaughter and daughter of firemen I will have inherited some fire retardant genes :-) 

FYI - The irony of the event being on “Burns” night also hasn’t escaped me - hopefully it’s not an omen for the outcome !

All money raised will go directly to ensuring that each individual in Scotland with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus lives the highest quality of life possible.

SBH Scotland each year support over 4,000 individuals each year and without events like these they would be able to raise the money required to support each person.
