Story
Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for visiting my fundraising page for Endometriosis UK. Having lived with endometriosis since I was a teenager, and spoken to many others who have it during my time as an endometriosis Support Group Leader, I know full-well the chronic pain, fatigue, worry and heartache it can bring.
I've chosen to fundraise to help provide more support and information to those impacted, and stand in solidarity with the 1 in 10 in the UK who have the disease. Through their helpline, website, web forum and support groups, plus all the work they do to support research and raise awareness, Endometriosis UK have helped so many people on their journey with endometriosis, and this is my chance to help them do a little bit more.
While it might not be much for some, many who know me will be aware that a 10k run is my Everest. I have made frequent attempts at running, but pain flares (and the British weather) have regularly set me back, so this will be a stretch. With a few weeks to practise, I'm aiming to run a full 10k by the end of March (Endometriosis Awareness Month). Any support you can offer to push me to my finish line would be hugely welcome.
Thanks again for reading.
