We provide wigs to children with cancer to restore their confidence and identity.

Story

Over the last two years Gabriel (age 10) has been growing his hair.  Having decided to have it cut, we thought it would be a great idea to donate his hair to Little Princesses who make wigs for children who lose their hair to illness.

Of course, having the hair to make the wigs is one thing, having the money to make them is another, so we thought that we'd ask our friends and family if they could rootle down the back of the sofa and find a few pennies to throw in towards making the wigs.

Being the supportive mum I'm also going to have my hair cropped too!  (I hope that this encourages you to rootle extra deep!)

We're looking forward to seeing the fabulous team at Phoenix Hair and Body who are going to take on the re-styling task!

More about Little Princesses here:

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
