The RRBF provides scholarships because schooling in Kenya is not free. And as all state secondary schools must charge fees, many children complete primary school and are unable to go on to secondary school. Their education either becomes severely disrupted or stops altogether.

And when they leave school they still face a challenge to find meaningful paid work.  This project will help them develop more skills for the world of work.
