We have hosted Rubie's Walk for the last two years giving supporters the opportunity to remember Rubie whilst raising vital funds (over £10000) towards helping end Meningitis.
This year we are aiming to smash our previous fundraising totals, by completing the 38000 steps in fancy dress.....remember #Team Tangerine so we would love to see your most imaginative orange outfit.
Rubie's 2017 Memory Walk will take place on Saturday 23rd September at The Manifold Way in the Staffordshire countryside.
Being tarmaced and almost totally flat its designed with families in mind and is open to all ages and abilities, making this the perfect event to spend time with your loved ones, whilst raising awareness of this cruel and devastating disease.
We are looking for as many family & friends as possible to walk, run or cycle the 17 mile route (or as much as you like).
There is no registration fee or minimum sponsorship, however sponsorship is the key to our event success and we urge every participant to raise as much as they can – the money we raise WILL help end Meningitis.
On the day of the event please sign in between 8am-9am, ready for a group photograph at 9:15. We start the walk together at 9.30am.
