The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I am running the Bupa London 10,000 on the 25th of May in loving memory of my friend Tom Ridgway, who was tragically killed in June 2012 cycling.

I met Tom at Central St Martins, Tom was the most warm-hearted and encouraging friend  and embraced life with optimism and a joy that inspired so many.

I chose to run the Bupa London 10,000 as this is where me and Tom met and spent time together, to anyone who knows me I do not run so this is a great challenge.

The Prince's Trust helps thousands of young people who have the greatest need for support in order to achieve their goals. They offer enterprise and education programmes, which provide mentoring, expertise and funding. The funds raised in memory of Tom Ridgway will be used to help young people such as these to realise their potential in a creative field of employment or enterprise.

So please dig deep and donate now.
