Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I am going to be running in the great north run 2022 raising money for the British heart foundation.

I am doing this in memory of my mam, Rachel Watson. My mam passed away when she was 45 and when I was 12 of a heart attack. She had cardiomyopathy; they don’t no if she developed it from having scarlet fever as a child or her 1st pregnancy with my brother. She  took medications for it daily. However, her doctors told her she didn’t need to have it checked up on anymore. Unfortunately, In 2016 she had a sudden heart attack and passed away. They said she would have needed an urgent heart transplant but it was too late.

I want to raise awareness and raise money for the BHF so no heart condition is missed and so nobody has to go through what happened to my mam, and the heartache that me and my family went through . The BHF is an amazing charity by raising money for them it funds their research to prevent, detect, treat and cure all heart and circulatory diseases, including heart attacks, strokes and vascular dementia, and the conditions or risk factors that can cause them, like diabetes and high blood pressure.

Any donations would be highly appreciated. Thank you x
