Story

Hello - Nic and I are getting fit and healthy this summer with 3 major challenges. Starting with a 60 mile Kent cycle ride, followed a week later with a 56 mile London to Brighton cycle. Our final challenge of the summer will be cycling 186 miles between Kirton and Nottingham.

This page donates your money directly to CSV.

CSV runs a volunteer scheme (CSV Allies) for befriending young people in local authority care. Some children and young people who are in care feel that they don't have an independent adult to turn to for advice, support, and friendship and this is where this scheme helps. I have been working with this scheme for almost 3 years and I believe (and my ally says) he has benefitted massively from it. It is a great charity and a brilliant scheme.

The event is in memory of James. He was a great advocate of CSV and the Allies scheme. His family have organised this 186 mile cycle ride from his family home in Kirton to Nottingham to raise money for CSV which Nic and I will be participating in.
