We support younger people living with young onset dementia and their families in Berkshire, Surrey Heath, NE Hants and Farnham. We provide one to one support and activity based workshops across the working week for people with a young onset dementia diagnosis, providing respite for their carers.

Story

On May 11 2018, I'll be running across London, raising money and awareness of Dementia with Lewy Bodies.

Starting at the Thames Barrier I'll be running/plodding/crawling through the city to the Teddington Lock, covering 50km (31m), the distance of an Ultra Marathon.

I'm raising money for Younger People with Dementia, a local charity that does great work for people who suffer from all forms of dementia far too young. Dementia is not just an older person's disease and it impacts the lives of so many people, including my own family.

I've run a couple of marathons in my time, but I'm a part-time runner at best. This will be a huge challenge for me. I hope you can support me - and this great charity - with a few quid.

If you want to donate - thank you - and you can do it by text too. Just text RIVR50 £amount to 70070.

Thank you.

Tim

Ps, as part of this challenge I’ve also run Wokingham Half Marathon, Reading Half Marathon (on a treadmill...) and completed the Southampton Marathon on 22 April too!
