Our family have been involved with the amazing Play it Forward charity for the last few years. The charity has funded some incredible projects in Zambia, from projects in rural schools, to water aid, sexual health education and a local football academy. This year, money has also been channeled into emergency famine relief as Zambia is suffering from acute food shortages and child malnutrition.

Due to the pandemic, many of the charity's fundraising events have sadly been unable to take place. The Edwards family are not an especially run-loving bunch, but we passionately believe in the work that that Play it Forward does, and we hope that by running the marathon, we can raise some money to ensure their work can continue.
