Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Autism is close to my heart. I am mum to Rebekah, who has 2 rare chromosome disorders as well as autism. She has been under the hospital since she was born having endless investigations. She never lets anything get in her way and always does her best. She knows she has to work harder than any of her peers, but she does this with a smile on her face. She is a true superstar and brings joy to anyone that she meets.

I have never been the fittest person, I have wanted to get fit for years, but never found anything that suited me. Until I started running! I am very new to running. I went on my first proper run in Boxing Day 2020. I instantly fell in love with it. I found it so freeing. I am now running regularly and increasing my distance. I have had the support of some fantastic people in my short journey so far. I have set myself the challenge to build up to a half marathon. So, I have decided to take part in the Great North Run 2021 and run for team autism.

I would love you to watch my journey and cheer me along the way. This is not going to be an easy challenge for me, but my goodness, it is going to be amazing.

Please donate to this fantastic cause and support me along the way!

Much love

Sophie xx
