I have never ran 5k before but decided that this is the year I will get on with it and support BackUp North West - a fantastic charity based in Bolton, who support young people who are homeless to be safe, stable and develop skills for independence. In the work they do they see improvements in health and well-being, reduction in risk of harm increase in self confidence and less exploitation of young people.
