Story
Teachers Run Club is an online community of educators who share their passion for running (or anything active) to help motivate and inspire one another.
This term we are coming together to raise money for Education Support by encouraging educators everywhere to pledge at least one active commute on their final week of Spring term and donate the money saved (or more if they like) to this amazing charity!
Details:
For the final week of the term we are asking school staff everywhere to pledge an active commute, we want you to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
There are lots of ways you can get involved, regardless of if you are a ‘runner’ or not and all we are asking for is a small donation:
- The price of your daily coffee
- The cost of your fuel for the days you would have driven
- £1 per km or mile your commute
- Go big and raise some money in school or with family and friends or do something small, It’s up to you!
So, if you run to work already, can you push one more day???
if you live just outside walking distance, could you attempt one walk or cycle in?
Who knows, you might even enjoy it and wish you had started years ago!!!
