Story

On Saturday 25th March, I will be running the CONQUER CRYSTAL PALACE 10k race in loving memory of Olu Oyerinde.

I don’t know how I’m going to do this…BUT I WILL and I will be doing it along side my amazing friends  STACEY & PHILIP who are here for the cause!❤️

Uncle Olu was not only a phenomenal family man, he was there for EVERYONE in his wider family, friends, local community and church.

Uncle Olu dedicated his life to helping others- he opened his home (did the best BBQs!), gave his time and used his professional expertise at every given opportunity…

Uncle Olu worked as the Tower Hamlets general manager at CAMHS and through his passion for young people and mental health, he helped transform the lives of so many!

He was a true example of ‘LOVE IN ACTION’

Uncle Olu spent so much of his time working to support charities and raise awareness of mental health and the money raised, will be given to the following charities to continue their amazing work!

Kintsugi Hope (All things mental health) https://kintsugihope.com/youth

60/40 Project (supporting young people) https://www.ascensiontrust.org.uk/60-40-youth-project/about-us/

“Uncle O  you supported me, loved me and gave me confidence to be bold in everything I do. When you died a piece of my heart broke, but now  I’m even more determined to make you proud.” - Larz

Rest in Perfect Peace
