Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - RUN363, in memory of Phil Randall

It has taken longer than I'd have liked to be in a position to do this.

In memory of a friend and Fire Service colleague, Phil Randall, who passed away in December 2020, I will run the Kintyre Way Ultra on May 13th 2023, to raise money for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust. The FST provided support to Phil and his family during his illness. I'd like to help ensure that others in an unfortunate position receive the same fantastic level of support.

I will be calling this fundraising effort 'RUN363' in honour of Phil - 363 being his Fife Fire and Rescue Service number. The race organisers have kindly offered to provide me with that vest number, and also allowing me to add extra distance to the 35-mile route, thereby completing 36.3 miles. They have been hugely supportive of my endeavour and I can't thank them enough. Being able to use Phil's service number really is the icing on the cake, and let's be honest, Phil loved a cake or 5 :)

My goal is to raise at least £363.00. Ideally, I hope that much more can be raised, but there's the bar, so help me to get there, at least.
