Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may know, this year I will be taking part in the Edinburgh marathon in memory of my friend Laura Martin who died suddenly on 13 December 2010, she was just 39 years old.

Her story was featured heavily in the press

This has been an extremely difficult time for Andy, Laura’s husband, and their two beautiful children Abbie aged 9 and Jamie aged 6.

Jamie is autistic and Andy has found support from the wonderful charity PACT (Parents of Autistic Children Together) which is why I am looking to support this charity in any way I can.

The marathon itself is on 22nd May and I will be running with my friend and training partner Alistair. We are hoping to raise as much as possible for this worthy charity.

I appreciate that times are tough but any support you can offer would mean so much.

Laura touched the lives of everybody she met and will never be forgotten but truly missed.
