Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

With LeeStock 2012 fast approaching we are pleased to introduce the LeeStock Marathon.

Ash's bit:

You may have seen my past efforts to raise money for the Willow Foundation through LeeStock, including a tattoo challenge and a bug eating event (see LeeStock.org for more details). So far, with a little help from some friends, I've raised just under £2000 since 2010.

My challenge for this year along with my friend Jonny Hamblin is to complete a full marathon, 26.2 miles of blood sweat and tears! The marathon will take place in and around my local town of Sudbury, Suffolk.

I have never taken part in an event like this before or even ran for more than the school cross country, so for me this is a huge challenge! We started training in september 2011 and with help from our sponsers Mwah and Sudbury Physiotherapy Centre, we are on track, and despite a few injuries between us we are confident that we will achieve our goal. You can keep an eye on our progress by visiting this page where i will be uploading photos and videos of our training right up to the day of the event.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your continued generosity and support, any donation however big or small will go a long way towards helping us to achieve our target. It is a privilege to be a part of LeeStock and to raise money for the Willow Foundation.

Thanks again, Ash

Jonny's bit:

I've been a massive supporter of LeeStock from the start and having known lee it has always meant a lot to me. I haven't done any money raising before and I wanted to get more involved than just the set up and clean up work I'd done in the past. When I told this to ash we decided we should do something extreme and that would shock people and as if it was meant to be we both said lets run a marathon! Having only ever been running when I was at school and played football it was fair to say I was running into the unknown! Training for me started with bike rides and swimming to build my fitness up before I started running. It hasn't been easy to put it mildly and being naive and buying the wrong trainers set me back a few months but with the help of our sponsor Sudbury physio centre I got back on track. Also Mwah have been a big help with the use of their gym and the advice they have given us. I'd like to say at this point thank you to everyone who has supported us so far and we'd love you to continue that up to and on the day of our marathon. Feel free to donate as much or as little as you can, this is our motivation for putting our body's through the hardest thing we undertaken

Please visit www.leestock.org for any more information and to see the line up for this years event.
