In March of 2019 I began volunteering for Tynemouth Seal Hospital, and was in peak physical fitness. However, a month later, while training for the Yorkshire Marathon, I suffered a slipped disc which landed me in hospital and put and end to my running.

Or so I thought!

In 2022 I will complete the Yorkshire Marathon, combining my passion for saving seals and my love of running.
