2018 was a year of awakening for me and my family, Talia our daughter only 14 years of age was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer and just like that without any warning her world was turned upside down.

Seeing so many babies, children, angels fighting this dis-ease while they still busted out a brave smile as we parents glanced at each other in hospital wards, disinfectant odoured corridors, radiotherapy waiting rooms with a mutual understanding to keep going for our angel.

WE are living in a Cancer war zone, none of us are safe - It doesn’t discriminate, tearing apart those in its path physically and psychologically leaving homes, families in carnage and friends feeling helpless.

My daughter Talia beat Cancer and was lucky enough to ring that end of treatment bell thanks to those who suffered and were kind enough to contribute to Cancer Charities and I have begun my life journey of giving back with help from a kind family and friends.

This 27 May 2019 I can't think of anything better than running together with family and friends at the Vitality London 10k in aid of Children with Cancer, let's do this! Let's keep up the fight back and help more angels get through this dis-ease and prevent more from getting Cancer by sponsoring our team! xx
