Run For The Trees · 4 November 2016

For 31 years, Rainforest Concern has helped to protect more than 2.2 million hectares of native tropical forests and the vast biodiversity they contain. We have worked with 21 partner organisations and 8 indigenous groups in 12 different countries.

Story

I' am running five kilometres every Saturday  in November for a charity called Rainforest
Concern. I am worried about the rainforest because people are chopping down the
trees and there
are killing animals .At school we are learning about tribes
from the Amazon and how they help the rainforest by only taking what they need.
I am trying to raise fifty pounds so that me and my class can adopt an acre of
a rainforest.

Inspired by her class topic of Rescue the Rainforest, Angharad (and her lucky Daddy, the 'over 35s "veteran"') will take part in the 5k Wotton park run every week in November, trying to improve their PB each time. She'd love your support to try and reach her target of £50 for Bath based charity, Rainforest Concern (www.rainforestconcern.org), supporting an acre of rainforest for a year.
