Story

Firsty, thank you for supporting my fundraising!

Macmillan Cancer Support has recently become a big part of my family's life, after my Nan was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia in late September 2018. Nan was given a short prognosis but carried on being her busy old self until she fell ill just before Christmas 2018. Nan was taken into hospital the Friday before Christmas and after 2 weeks of amazing treatment from the Macmillan unit, she passed away.

The team that surrounded my Nan for the last two weeks of her life could not have been more compassionate, hardworking, accommodating and full of love. Their practice was second to none, and they made her final days as comfortable as possible which is all we could have wished for.

Me and my Dad are running the 5 mile Sudbury Fun Run on Friday 19th April in order to raise money for this amazing charity. Dad himself suffers from a lung condition which limits his lung capacity so this is an even bigger challenge for him, but I wouldn't want to run alongside anybody else.

Any support is greatly appreciated 💕
