Our team of 8 runners are undertaking a challenging relay run of 218km with over 2.4km ascent. It will take us from Coast to Coast across Scotland taking in amazing scenery, bad weather (probably, it's Scotland in summer) and almost certainly various swarms of midgies. It will take us around 24hrs in total. I will be running 2 of the legs totalling over 30km in distance and over 550m of ascent. None of us have done anything like this before, so please considering me or any one of our team and as well as encouraging us, you will also be helping the TRIBE Freedom Foundation.

TRIBE Freedom Foundation is on a mission to fight modern slavery and end human trafficking. They work by raising awareness of trafficking, supporting survivors and enabling frontline projects to prevent modern slavery. They empower communities to create an impact. There are an estimated 40.3 million victims of slavery globally and 136,000 people living in slavery in the UK. That's more than two victims for every thousand people in the country.
