St. Giles, like many other charities at the moment, is struggling to raise as much money as it usually would have done in a normal (read: pre-COVID!) year. We want to do our bit to help them. 

Flo and Roo are going to be tracking their miles throughout the week and are asking if you could throw some spare change to their page. We go up the Chase every day, so hopefully we will cover a fair distance! 

St. Giles has had a place in our hearts as a family as it is where our Grandad Gary went in his latter stages of Motor Neurone Disease. They provided respite, care and advice in a professional manner, whilst still having the heart to talk to you as if you were their own family.  Not only did our Grandad get to experience their excellent care, but we know of others who have too. Nothing is too much for the staff at St. Giles. 

St. Giles Hospices are located in Sutton Coldfield, Walsall and - where my Grandad stayed - Whittington, and I have been privileged to have met and know nurses, doctors, admin staff and so many more who contribute to the whole site, either through my work (some children in my class are  lucky enough to have these heroes for parents!) or as family friends. I know how much they give, how much they do, and just how sincere their care is. 

We will keep you updated through the page every day with just how far we have gone!
