Story
So 2020 happened.…
Originally the plan was to run 72km to celebrate 72 years of Bill, 2020 had other plans, now three false starts and a fair amount of training later and we will run the 72km on what would have been his 73rd birthday. For good measure Will is going to also run the Amsterdam marathon 5 weeks after Brighton, so two for the price of one!
Charities didn’t just stop over the pandemic and Dandelion Time was no exception, they remained open to support the children and families who need them and adapted their services and worked 1:1 sessions. All this at a time when most fundraising activities (such as ours) were put on hold because of the pandemic.
If you can afford to donate any amount, it is really appreciated.

Just before Christmas 2019 our dad died very suddenly. During his retirement Dandelion Time formed a large part of his life, becoming a second home. He volunteered here weekly doing handy work and organising events around their site. Bill received a huge amount of love and support from the staff and this love has shown through during this difficult time.
Dandelion Time is a local charity in Maidstone (UK) that provides support and helps re-build children and families that have suffered some sort of traumatic event. They have a smallholding with animals which they integrate into animal therapy.
