Story
The past few months have been tough for everyone, but coronavirus has hit those affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives. So that's why I'm lacing up my trainers for the FIRST time ever and taking on a Run for Dementia with my friends who are also my colleagues Tonisha and Fiona, who both have family members suffering with Dementia. It all started with us challenging ourselves to the couch to 5k, so in January we began our training and will continue throughout February, in preparation for our fundraiser 50 miles in March.
I know it’s a difficult time for lots of people financially, so even if your support means simply spurring me on, or if you could make a small donation to support and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most, it would be so gratefully received , wish me luck xxx
