On the 28th February 2025, we unexpected lost my older sister, Ellis Amber Jones Gould. Ellis was diagnosed with diabetes when she was 15 years old, and since then had to deal with all the complications it can bring, with many years of week-long hospital stays and several blue light ambulance trips. Diabetes can be so life-consuming, as my family had to witness Ellis battle it daily. This charity means everything to myself and my family, and to reach the goal and run the marathon in memory of my sister would be an incredible achievement.
