In January this year, we sadly lost a dear friend and founding member of Newent Runners, Mandy Whittington after a short illness. Mandy was very generous with her time and dedicated many hours to our club and local parkrun, so we would like to use this opportunity to fund-raise for a cause that she supported.
Our team of runners includes:
Andrew Callard, Duncan Cresswell, Yvonne Featherstone, Ruth Hayden-Cox, Clive Jones, Jonathan Miles, and Emily Trenwith tackling the marathon (first one for the three ladies!)
Karen Apted, Chris Barber, Liza Barber, Emma Blewitt, Katie Cook, John Featherstone, Dermot Kelly, Helen Kelly, Helen Knowles, Lynn Latham, and Maggie Pettit all running the 10k event.
We all have mental health - just like your physical health, you probably only notice it if something is not right. Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem, and Mind believe no-one should have to face that alone. They will listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.
