Story
Mo Clater - Mum, Wife, Grandma, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, friend and colleague - and just a generally awesome woman.
Sadly Mum passed away on 7th December 2012 only 8 weeks after her cancer diagnosis. Mum's only pain free week was her last and came courtesy of the dedicated, caring and professional staff of the Marie Curie Nursing home in Edinburgh.
As a nurse of over 20 years standing, all of it spent working in the NHS in Edinburgh, I know Mum would have truly appreciated and understood the work that Marie Curie do, not only for those who are ill, but also their families and friends.
You may not know that Marie Curie is only part funded by the NHS and threfore relies on fundraising in order to continue to provide this vital support in time of most need.
I think it's only fitting therefore that in memory of our mighty Mo, I will run the 13 miles (13 was her lucky number!) of the Great North Run in order to raise funds for Marie Curie. Can you help me please?

Thank you so very much.
Mel.
