Hi everyone. My name is Ben Rowe. I am running the Manchester Marathon on 28th April 2013. I am running this in aid of Barnsley Hospital.

As the people that know me know my Dad passed away from a cardiac arrest in September 2012 and all my family was helped a great deal by the care and assistance provided by Barnsley Hospital to help us through the difficult time.

To show my appreciation to the Hospictal I will be running this marathon to help raise funds to hopefully help the hospital to buy new beds and equipment that is needed to save other people's lives.

My Mum also passed away in June 2005 so I will be running this marathon in memory of both my parents.

Please be generous and sponsor me as much as you can to finish this marathon. It will be difficult and there will be difficult times along the way but no matter what people may say i WILL finish this marathon in memory of my Mum and Dad.

Thanks for all your sponsorship and I will keep you up to date on how the training is going and how I am getting on as the clock ticks down towards raceday.
