Story
Geoffrey is aiming to run 1000 + miles during 2019. That works out at just under 3 miles per day on average. His average yearly total is 670 miles based on the last 6 years, the highest was 795 miles in 2015. So it’s a challenge but one that should be achievable.
Gillian is aiming to run 300 miles during 2019. 2014 was her best year, running 515 miles but since then it has declined, last year doing none. Now with a challenge for a good cause she has renewed enthusiasm.
Our aim is to donate a minimum £1300 to the Alzheimer’s Society, and hopefully a lot more. We are well on our way but please give generously. We will make sure we post regular updates as to our progress on this page.
We also have a Facebook group “Run GB, Run.” which has updates and information.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
