Story
Hello,
I'm Mohammad Alqadi, 28 years old and I'm a Palestinian Long Distance Runner from Palestine. I moved to France in 2013 to complete my studies and I'm also the founder of ‘Runners For Freedom’.
I began running for Palestine in 2014 raising the Palestinian flag each time to bring attention to the plight of my people, and to fundraise for causes helping Palestinian People. I have ran 11 international marathons in the last 20 months and, on 22 April 2018 I’m running Marathon number 12 at London Marathon hoping to raise £10,000 to provide Clean safe Water For Gaza.
After the war on Gaza only 10% of Gaza’s population has access to safe drinking water. Penny Appeal, through it’s Thirst Relief campaign is providing clean, safe and pure water to the impoverished families, schools and hospitals in Gaza .
It takes 4 months to train for a marathon so I am working very hard at the moment. I hope you can help me reach my target £10,000 to help us provide clean water for the children of Gaza.
