LonDONE!

 

Well, we had rain, glorious sunshine, humid mist...we had it all in what turned out to be a very emotional day. We started out with 'We start together, we finish together'. Thats never easy running as a team, out of your own pace as a runner but we crossed the line, arms around one another in 5.34.22 which is fantastic!!! We have raised lots of money for a great charity, we have learned lots about each other as friends. A famous quote on marahon running is: 'If you want to win a race, run the hundred metres. If you want to change your life, run a marathon'. As philosophical as that sounds, its true. We will never look at london or each other in quite the same light again. There are moments to remembered, moments to be forgotten, one's to joke about and one's to let go...feets of human endeavour such as this bind us like nothing else and couldn't think of two finer men I would rather have shared it with.
