Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started running again during lockdown (Couch to 5k) and was inspired by Brendan Foster during a 5 live interview to run this year's Great North Run. The 13.1 miles (21.1 km) is a big step up from 5 km and previously the longest I've run is 12 km. But the training seems to be going well.

I've chosen the Hospice of the Good Shepherd because my Mum used to support their great work before she sadly died from cancer. The Hospice were amazing for Mum and the rest of us during the very difficult time. Like many charities at the moment the Hospice are struggling for resources so please help their excellent cause by giving generously. Thank you!

I'll let you know how I get on.
