Action Duchenne - Love Run London · 14 February 2009 ·

We have a very clear vision: a world where people's lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Story

My nephew George is 5 years old and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  I am running the London Marathon to raise money for Action Duchenne - a charity dedicated to finding a cure for this killer condition.

It's harsh, but without a cure boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy are likely to be in a wheel chair by 10yrs, paralysed in their teens, and die in their late teens or early 20s.

Research is at a really critical stage and for the first time ever there is a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. Help us to keep up the momentum and raise urgently needed funds!

Thank you
