Story

 Hi every one
I wasn’t sure how to word this so just going to throw it straight out there.

Some of you may already know but I recently lost a very close friend of mine. His name was Jamie Maclennan and I’ve basically grew up with him from a young age and played rugby side by side from U10'S Rugby and every age group all the way through to senior level and went to college together. Jamie suffered from severe Epileptic attacks and sadly the last one led to his death on the 11th December 2014.

Over the years I’ve done a lot of charity work for various organisations but never had a specific reason to why I was doing it. Now sadly this has happened so it has really spurred me on to do something for Jamie and something that would have meant a lot to him which he would have been proud of. One thing which he did have a passion for as well as his family was raising money for the Grace house appeal. Grace House is basically a charity that will provide respite care for children and young people who have life-shortening conditions for which there is no known cure. Jamie’s mam Karen is a senior fundraiser for Grace house and has organised a big charity event in memory of Jamie at the stadium of light in April. One of the events is going to be THE FULL MONTY…..

Yes I will be getting naked but unfortunately they completely sold out of tickets (500). However I will get video’s and pictures to show you after . As well as this as this I’ve signed up for the Great North Run to which I’m looking for a time of 1 hour 30 and hopefully shave 4 minutes of my PB. finally I’m taking a squad of finally tuned athletes from Sport central (my work place) to take part in Total Warrior event again and looking for our team to come in the top 10 bracket and me personally to be in the top 50.

I know this time of year everyone knows someone who is doing a charity event and needs sponsoring, so totally understand if you have already gave money to another charity. However i really would appreciate any kind of donation even the smallest amount. So if you can dig deep I’ll send you some selfies in my thong ☺ (£5 a thong selfie.

So if you'd like to sponsor me you can do it through this page or if you prefer i can come collect it in person. Also can you forward this to any one you think would be interested in sponsoring please.

P.S all the money raised on the night of the charity event is going towards a mini van so the kids can go on frequent trips out.

Sorry for the novel but really looking forward to try and raise some money for this great cause and in memory of our Jamie.

Thanks again
Sean
