Story
I am delighted to have been given a place in the London Marathon to run for Cynthia Spencer Hospice who cared for Ros and for whom I have been volunteering now for over 4 years.
This will be my 3rd London Marathon and I aim to make it my best and finish in the best possible time.
If you are able to support the Hospice and spur me on I would be most grateful AND to add a bit of fun and to show my appreciation I've decided to give prizes to the supporters who can closest predict my time. My two previous times have been 6 hrs 58 mins 18 secs and 6 hrs 36 mins 41 secs. Deadline for this bit of fun is midnight on Saturday 2nd October, so that I can focus on my run after that.
To give you some idea of my current fitness, in June I finished the Northampton 10k ( approx 1/4 Marathon distance) in 1 hr 7 mins 37 secs.
So when making your donation please be sure to leave your name and your predicted time, so that I can contact you to ensure you receive your prize.
Please answer YES to: 'share my details with Running for Ros'.
Many thanks again for your support of me and Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
