2022 is the year of running! · 24 February 2022

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Running through 2022 is now in memory of the wonderful Stevie. Stevie was one of the greatest, he was funny, he was so kind, he was the best character in the room and he was so brave to the very end. Just 8 months ago his whole world collapsed with a horrible cancer diagnosis. His wonderful wife, his awesome family and his brilliant friends have all lost a shining light in our lives.

Macmillan Cancer Support help those who have to live with cancer, along with their family and friends. They offer financial and practical advice to those who have had a life changing diagnosis. Times are tough for many for many of us right now, but even tougher for those living with cancer.

If you have anything left to give please consider donating and supporting my running efforts. Stevie will be laughing at the thought of me running so far - he wasn't a runner in the slightest!

At the moment everything costs more money - from petrol to food and don't get me started on the gas bills! Macmillan offer financial support to those who may not be able to work, to try and eliminate other financial stresses.  They also offer so much more - more than I even realised!

I know there are financial struggles, and with struggles elsewhere in the world this may seem small in the grand scheme of things, but if you could spare anything please consider giving to Macmillan, and I would so appreciate your support with all this running!
