Running The West Highland Way · 2 June 2022

We support the thousands of patients and families at Sheffield Children’s, from across the UK and beyond, by funding the life-changing and the joy-sparking. We make clinical care kinder, and bad days brighter. We bring play, laughter and comfort to places where they’re needed the most.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Rachel and I have always done running and fitness for personal reasons. For myself it also helps my mental health. I have decided that I would like to use what I do in my free time to take on a challenge that is bigger than I have done before.

From the 2nd June, 2022, we will be heading up to Scotland to run the West Highland Way. This iconic 96 mile route starts just north of Glasgow and finishes at Fort William.

The plan is to take 4 days to run the route, with around a marathon per day.

This requires quite a degree of planning and logistics. We are also taking our Sprocker Spaniel, Alby so we need to train him up too!

We hope that by trying to raise money whilst doing this, we can contribute vital funds for some of the amazing projects The Children's Hospital Charity constantly undertake.

Thank you for anything you are able to donate.
