Story

My Dad Johnny died on the 12th September 2017 from fatal injuries he suffered in a fire at home.

There isn't a day since that he isn't in our thoughts and we are still heartbroken that he's gone.

To remember him in a way that he'd appreciate, I'm taking on the physical challenge of running 2,018kms in 2018, including a half marathon/marathon on Saturday 26th May 2018 on a return route from Two Mile House to his grave in Ballynure Church, to raise €2,018 for the Burns Unit in St James Hospital, who looked after Dad so compassionately in his final hours.

As well as any financial support you can make for the Burns Unit, I'd really love it if you could join me for a run at some stage, maybe even making the Half/Full Marathon run with me in May.

I'll do my best to update you on my progress along the way.  I'll always have Dad with me but hopefully it won't just be the two of us!
