Story

FINAL UPDATE: The race was a success! Very well organized in spite of the circumstances--huge thanks to the organizers. And of course many thanks to all the supporters and donors :) The donations for this page are over, but please continue staying safe and supporting our healthcare workers in whatever other ways you can!

UPDATE: I should be doing my first race on Dec 5th. If it's not cancelled, I'll end the donations after that day. We've hit the target, but I'm a big fan of extra credit!

What a year it's been! When I started this in April, I thought we'd be well past the pandemic by now. I challenged COVID-19 to a sprint; it's got me running marathons (but not actually--those are cancelled). The goal is to donate a dollar for every mile I run until my first in-person race. That money will be going towards helping our healthcare workers get the resources they need to fight this virus. Unfortunately, my legs can only handle so much running. So if you care to do so, please donate with me!

100% of the money raised will be going to Direct Relief. Here is their website: https://www.directrelief.org/
